WindowsLoader is a free software program that lets you boot from a CD/DVD, USB flash drive, or external hard disk without accessing Windows first. Some benefits of using this program over other methods are: -You can use a CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive as a bootable device instead of a hard disk. -If the machine has no floppy drive, you can still boot from the DVD/CD with the help of WindowsLoader. -It supports BIOS and UEFI firmware as well as GPT disks. -As it's legacy free, it doesn't need any emulation software on your computer to work properly. -It lets you create a Windows PE boot DVD/CD directly from Windows using the MakeWinPEMedia command. -You can use it even if Windows is not installed on the computer. It doesn't need any Operating System to run. -It supports multiple NTFS file systems for data storage on boot devices. And if your device is FAT32 formatted, you can also store data on it. -You can use Windows Loader to create a bootable USB drive for repairing or recovering your computer when the hard disk is corrupted or inaccessible. -Copying a large number of files from the boot device to the hard disk is faster. -You can copy or move an entire folder of your choice directly to the boot device without going through Windows Explorer. Windows Loader is a simple and portable tool that doesn't require any installation process or additional DLLs, which makes it easy to run from a USB flash drive. It supports both 32 bit and 64 bit editions of Windows operating systems including Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1. In order to create a bootable drive from scratch, you have to format it first using the command prompt in Windows 7/8/Vista. There are many advantages in using Windows Loader and in fact, Windows Loader is a better choice than RUFUS. WindowsLoader is a free and legal way to boot from a CD/DVD or flash drive, and it has been used to boot from any media for many years before the creation of Rufus. The intention behind making this tool was to make using such devices much easier (although Rufus preceded WindowsLoader). You can use WinLoad without any restriction, but you should know that WinLoad is not able to update your system files if you installed them with other means. WinLoad comes with a small utility called wlcfg.exe which can help you make some changes to the system files if they are not overwritten when you install them with WinLoad. You can create a restore point, disable or enable hibernation, and change the system time (which is used by Windows Loader to check what type of media is in front of it). You can also use it in conjunction with other Windows variants such as Windows 98, ME and 2000. The command line arguments for this application: This program supports only Windows 7 and later versions and doesn't support earlier versions. cfa1e77820
